The CoSyDat RAS-Manager is used to create, edit and test RAS-Connections.
If multiple connections are installed at the system, the RAS-Manager shows all this
connections and is able to easily switch between this connections for dialing-up.
If the RAS-Manager has opened a phonebook entry and the web connection is
"on-line", any Web-Program as Web-Browser etc., can operate over this connection
without using the default system settings. Agains manipulation by strangers a Vamping Protection is
included.

Using the switch Dial a connection will be established. The
upper bar shows the type of the connection and the activity field shows the progress and
condition of the running connection. Using the switch Hang-up
the connection will be terminated.
Using the switch More... the dialog will be extended with the
following options:

After opening the working area (Fig. 2) by clicking the button "More...",
all options for creating and editing a Phonebook Entry are accessible.

A "all in one" dialog, as shown with Fig. 3, makes the setting procedure really effective and additional detailed context help can be gained at each field.

Name and path for up to 10 Applications can be installed in the "Start Programs" area. Any Start Program can be opened by using any Phonebook Entry, as shown in Fig. 1.

HINT:
A RAS-Connection (phonebook entry) is established on the computer in order to be
able to reach Internet Services, like WWW, eMail, Chat etc., by using an internal or
external modem working as analog or ISDN device. The RAS-Manager replaces the multiple
procedures when using windows dialogs, by a "all in one"
dialog.
